- Saturday, Sept. 30 with the Blessing of the Animals at the Shrine of St. Francis (outdoors) at 1:00 pm
- Sunday, Oct. 1 for Fiesta de Francisco; Festive foods prepared by Spanish community members after the 12:30 pm Mass. (Under the tent on the friary lawn or in the parish office conference room in the event of inclement weather.)
- Monday, Oct. 2, "Meet the Poverello;" Presentation by the Butler Secular Franciscans with light refreshments at 7 pm in the parish office meeting room
- Tuesday, Oct. 3 for The Transitus of St. Francis of Assisi, an especially moving spiritual experience; in church at 7 pm
- Wednesday, Oct. 4th for The Feast of St. Francis of Assisi; Festive liturgy with music at 11 am
