Come to St. Anthony Community Center to enjoy homemade empanadas and tacos - AND KARAOKE!Time: 5 - 7:00 PM Tickets are on sale now in the parish office Mon-Fri, 9 AM till 3 PM; or after Masses on April 15-16: $20/adult; $10/children ages 6-12; free for ages 5 and under. Please buy your tickets no later than April 16, so we know how many guests to plan for. Take-out will be available, but NO tickets will be sold at the door. Holy Thursday, April 6: Mass of the Lord's Supper in the church at 7:00 PM; Good Friday Service, April 7 - in the church at 3:00 PM, 7:00 PM in Spanish; Easter Vigil, April 8 - in the church at 7:30 PM. Blessing of the Easter Food at noon. (The 10:00 AM Family Mass will not be celebrated on Palm Sunday or Easter Sunday.)
This Lenten Season, each parish in the Diocese of Paterson will have the Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession) available on Mondays: March 6 through April 3, 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM. If you have been reluctant to come to the Sacrament, have been away for some time or just found it difficult to get to a Saturday morning Confession time, this is a wonderful opportunity to re-connect with Christ and His Church. Don't be afraid! Ask the priest to help you. Experience the gracious mercy of God!
On the Feast of Pentecost (May 28,2023), the Sacrament of Confirmation will be conferred on adults who have already been baptized and received First Communion. In preparation, four classes will be given by Fr. Matthew on April 18th & 25th, and May 2nd & 9th. They will be held in the Parish Office Conference Room from 7:00-7:45 PM. Please contact the Parish Office before April 1st to register for these classes.
The 2023 Mass Book is available to schedule Masses for your family and friends. It can be for their birthday, date of death, anniversaries, or special intentions.
"It is a sacred privilege, gifted by the Holy Spirit, to walk with people who are struggling." The first Stephen Ministry formation class begins on March 15th. Please keep our trainees in your prayers as they embark on a Journey of Faith, Hope and Love.
Get a "step ahead" and join the Weekday Walkers on Mondays-Wednesdays-Fridays in our spacious gym at St. Anthony's Community Center, 9:30-10:30 AM. The weather is always fine in the gym, the people are friendly, and the terrain is always smooth! Boost your mood and get that cardio exercise done! (Note: The Walkers do not meet on Federal Holidays.)
